History of the Clink Sisters

The Clink Sisters were born in May, 2008 on the Celebrity Summit.

The five members are (in alphabetical order by first name): Barbara H. (Kansas City, MO), Bernice M. (Charlotte, NC), Betty O. (Wallingford, CT), Reba L. (Atlanta, GA), and Rebecca H. (Grapevine, TX).

The trip started out as a way to help Rebecca celebrate her 50th birthday in June, 2008. Because of this, she was given the honor of selecting the cruise line and the cruise itinerary for the trip. Needless to say, she chose well!

She chose the Celebrity Summit sailing from Venice, Italy to Barcelona, Spain. This cruise was billed as a 12-Night Mediterranean Legacies Cruise sailing on May 23, 2008 through June 4, 2008. We had two reserved cabins on the Penthouse Deck, on the port side of the ship (to get the view of Venice as we sailed out), which were connected via an adjoining door. It was a cruise filled with exciting ports, a classy ship, fun friends, and so many new adventures.

The Clink Sisters are dedicated to travel as much as is possible (given the time and dollars!) to both new and already-visited sites around the world. This site is designed to record those memories of travel past, maintain current logs while planning travel present, and keep a wish list for travel future.
